Literasi Digital Mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri
Abstract
Literasi digital menjadi sebuah kebutuhan bagi dunia Pendidikan untuk didesain dalam sebuah upaya serius untuk membekali peserta didik dalam belajar dan berkarir kedepannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi matakuliah Digital literacy for language teachers di prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, pengalaman belajar mahasiswa, dan pendapat mereka setelah belajar. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumen analisis dan focus group discussion. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui tahapan: deskripsi data, reduksi data dan interpretasi data untuk menjawab rumusan masalah dalam penlitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa matakuliah Digital literasi memberikan penetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi dan mengolah informasi seta menyampiakan informasi untuk keperluan belajar dan mengajar. Mahasiswa bisa mengikuti proses perkuliahan terkait teori dan pengetahuan digital literasi. Mereka mencoba beberapa aplikasi Pendidikan dan mendesain aplikasi Pendidikan untuk keperluan belajar dan mengajar Bahasa Inggris. Pendapat mereka positif terkait matakuliah dan ada beberapa masukan untuk perbaikan dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini menyearnakan perguruan tinggi agar menngemabngkan literasi digital mahasiswa untukkeprluan belajar dan karir di dunia professional mereka.
